Article marketing is used to dominate a keyword. But aspiring article marketers don't tend to know how to do it. Are you ready to learn? Here it is.
You have to write countless amounts of articles. That's right. Writing is your key to success as an article marketer. You have to write hundreds of articles about your topic and just flood out the market with your information. When you do this, you will absolutely dominate the keyword your using. You can easily dominate any keyword if you write enough articles. Just keep writing.
The more that you write, the more Google thinks of you as a reliable resource, so Google will increase your page rankings. This is the greatest marketing tactic you will ever receive! Google loves articles! So don't be surprised if your article just dominates your competition and gets you landed on the first page of Google. This is completely normal! Many have beaten out their competition with articles and it's easy to do.
You just have to do what I told you, write and write and write. You can easily make more than 30 articles a week. Just put about 1 hour a day into your article marketing and by the end of the month you'll have more than 100 articles working for you. Every article you have is an opportunity to make a sale. You just have to work hard enough, and soon, the profits will come your way.
You don't have to write Shakespeare. In fact, you shouldn't. Writing Shakespeare will just take way to long and too hard. You have to flood the market as fast and as much as you can. This is the key to article marketing.

While many niche marketers have their eye on the money coming in, it's likely that they'll find money going out on a regular basis as well. It's all part of the cost of living, but the smart entrepreneurs have a trio of techniques to make sure that the net result is positive and to have cash in hand after the bills are paid. Here's how they set about it:
Generate more clients
It's a given. You want more sales revenue? Then get more customers. You may already be using advertising to do just that, but whatever the case there are some tried and trusted ways of getting more people to buy from you. Make sure you follow through. Get three clients where you used only to get two, that's the big benefit about following through. Hang on to those leads, make them feel welcome and look forward to up to 50% more sales and profit.
You can also get your clients to sell for you. A happy client will spread the news without being encouraged, often to 2 or 3 people they know. If you start rewarding them, you'll boost that number as well. Spread your advertising further at no cost as well. News coverage works well locally. It's the thrill of recognizing the person featured in the paper. Give the journalists an interesting angle and you'll reap the benefits of good publicity with no charge.
Generate more money per customer
Suppose you could increase the spend of every customer that buys from your company. Try the following tactics. They may surprise you, but they've stood the test of time. First, put your prices up. That's right, up. Not down. As you increase prices, figure out ways to increase the worth of your product - as seen by your customers. It's a natural reaction: if you want higher quality, you pay a little dearer. And many will prefer a product that works and lasts, to one that sells at a rock-bottom price.
Then move up the food chain with higher priced products. Diversification has merit and the smart entrepreneur knows it. There's a good reason for it...a product at a premium price brings in more profit per sale even if it sells in less volume. Less work and more net income is the ideal way to sell. Suggest an add-on product that fits with what your customer is buying. Buying a DVD player? Hey, how about some DVDs to go with that! Help your customers and help yourself at the same time.
Generate more money more times per customer
Statistics prove it. People who have faith in you take less work to buy from you. Don't fall into the trap of exclusively running after new customers. Capitalize on the loyalty and liking that you've already built up by using the that special offer to prove to them that you are grateful for their trust and that they will be rewarded by special attention from you. They'll appreciate both aspects and you'll sell even more.
Offer them that new product that they told you they wanted. It'll prove how responsive you are to them, and boost your bottom line into the bargain. And remember to tell them about it. They need to hear from you - regularly. Tell them about the special offers and the new products that you're planning, and above all, remind them about how useful they find what you're selling today.

If you're going to enter into any niche, you should start broad, then go narrow. This ensures you won't miss important keywords. For example, let's say you were going to do keyword research for dieting tips. To start broad, we'd want to research a term like diet. We are not looking for just keywords with diet in them however, because search engines like Google also analyze relevancy by latent semantic indexing (LSI). What LSI means is that search engines check for similar terms related to diet to determine how relevant the content website is.
To take advantage of LSI properly, do a Google search for diet, but put a tilde (~) in front of the term, so search would look like this: ~diet. Google will return related words in bold such as weight loss, recipes, wheat, meal, eating and foods. Notice the difference from these words and words you'd find in a thesaurus. If you're doing keyword research properly, your best to use terms that search engines tell you are relevant, and not what a thesaurus suggests.
You can then take each of these terms, and do another tilde search, and write down more related words that pop up. By going through broader words into more specific words, you'll be sure not to miss any words related to your keyword, and also have a list of an exact vocabulary to use in your pages to ensure Google will evaluate your content as being highly relevant.
In conclusion, the strategy I have given you something you should use every time you're going to do keyword research for a new niche. While this is not the only strategy you should employ, it is the best one to use for getting a list of terms to look at and consider as traffic sources. The next logical step would be to determine how many users are searching for each of those terms, and then locating ones with high searches so you can optimize for not just the keyword, but related keywords that the search engines also place value upon.

Every well designed website should have Meta tags. You might be asking yourself, "What are meta tags"? The short answer is Meta tags are a set of tags placed in the HTML header of your website to provide information to search engines about your website. You got it; the keyword here is search engines. As stated in a previous article, it is vital that you ensure your website is listed in the major search engines. Let's take this one step further and dissect the two major types of Meta tags.
Description Meta Tag
The description Meta tag is where you want to tell the search engines what your website is all about. You can think of the description Meta tag as the first impression of your website. When someone types in a search term in the search engines and your website is listed as matching that search term, the first thing they will see is the title and description of your website. If your description is not compelling enough your website may be overlooked time and time again. The end result would mean less traffic for you. So, let's take a look at what makes a good description:
1. First and foremost, your description must be relevant to your website. It should convey in a few words what your target audience should expect to get out of using your website. Your description should directly relate to both the title and the body content of your website. With that being said, every page on your website may not necessarily have the same description.
2. Although you want to make sure to use your main keywords in the description Meta tag, you do not want the description to be a complete reiteration of your keywords. The description should be full complete sentences making sure to be careful of any grammatical errors. Remember, the goal is to communicate to real people the essence of your website. To do so you must speak ("write") plain ole English.
3. Your description does not have to be really long to get your point across. The typical description is approximately 15 - 25 words long. This is equivalent to about 2 - 3 short sentences. Although there hasn't been an official word on what the description length needs to be, keep in mind there is only so much space available for your description in the search engine listings.
This list may not be all inclusive. However, it's a great start. To get a better fill of does and don'ts, search the internet using keywords relevant to your website and take a look at what the descriptions look like.
Keyword Meta Tag
The keyword Meta tag is probably the most important. This is where you would formulate a list of words that are directly related to your website. When someone types in a search term that fits your keywords your website could be one of the ones in the search engines listings. Typing in a group of words in the keyword Meta tag isn't as simple as that. There is a methodology to generating appropriate and good keywords that are suitable for your website. Let's take a look at a few things to keep in mind.
1. Don't use keywords that are not relevant to your website. Your keywords should consist of words that specifically describe what your website is all about. So if your website is geared towards web design, you should not use keywords relative to cookbooks. Sounds like common sense. However, you'd be surprised at how many websites use keywords that have nothing to do with their website.
2. You want to use keywords that are found in the body of your website. This increases the relevancy of your keywords. This does not mean that you should have lines of keywords imbedded into your website. Rather you should choose the words that are a part of the natural flow of your content. With that being said, it might serve you better to write the content of your website prior to identifying the appropriate keywords.
3. Generally, there are four areas to consider when incorporating your keywords in the Meta tag and the body of your website. These are density, frequency, prominence, and proximity.
a. Density refers to the number of times keywords appear versus all the words within the website. For example, if you have 500 words on a webpage and 250 are a particular keyword or keyword phase you would have a density of 50% which is way too high. Keyword density for each keyword or phrase should typically be between 2% - 6%.
b. Frequency refers to how often a keyword appears in the webpage. It is believed that the more a keyword appears the more relevant search engines see your webpage for that keyword. However, keep in mind that you do not want too high of a density. So if you want to use the same keyword over and over again make sure to have plenty of content surrounding the keyword.
c. Prominence refers to where the keyword(s) are found in the webpage. To achieve this remember to use your keywords in your title, description, at the beginning of the webpage, and the beginning of sentences.
d. Proximity refers to how close keywords are to each other. For example, consider the following two sentences:
"We design web sites"
"We specialize in web design"
If the keyword used in the search engines were "web design", the second sentence would be a better choice as it has the keywords web and design right next to each other.
There are many free tools on the internet that you can use to determine if your Meta tags past the test. Simply go to your favorite search engine and type in "free keyword analyzer" and see how you measure up.

There are many ways to advertise your business online; two of the more popular ways are by article marketing and pay-per-click marketing. With article marketing you write articles and they will usually be indexed in the major search engines such as Yahoo and Google as well as picked up by owners of ezines. This is how you get traffic to your website.
With Pay Per Click, you would pay for your ad to show up above the natural search results or beside them when a user does a keyword search with the search engines. You pay the search engine company each time someone clicks on your ad; the price you pay depends on the competition for that keyword.
I believe that when you are entering a new market you should start out with article marketing. If you have to write good articles about a topic or subject, you have to do research. The research you do will help you find pay per click ad space that is empty and you will be the only one advertising in that space.
Also keep in mind that the primary reason people use search engines is to get information, a lot of people believe that the useful information is only found in the search results as opposed to the pay per click side of the page. This is a big advantage to article marketers because they are able to give the user what they are looking for first, before trying to market to them. It's a very effective way of marketing.
When starting how I say go with article marketing, once experienced you can branch out to pay per click marketing.
I wasted 17months trying to drive profitable traffic to my website, but you should not do the same. Instead click here to get a copy of my "Quality Traffic Report". In it I will show you my results after testing article marketing vs. google pay per click, you can use the results to start driving profitable traffic to your website.
The greatest thing about marketing your product or service using articles is that it is free. Free traffic is always good traffic. Every internet marketer who wants to drive traffic to their website should use this service. Whether you are just a newbie or already an experienced marketer, you will definitely benefit from using this tactic. Here is how it works.
1. You write articles providing useful information and related to the product/service that you want to promote on your website.
2. Distribute these articles to top ranking article distributors. Search Google to find them, there are tons of these.
3. Near the bottom of the article, there is something called an Author Resource Box, some sites called it by other names such as Signature (Sig). You can provide a description of your product/service here. Most websites will allow you to add a hyperlink to your own site. Also, give visitors a gift, such as a newsletter or report, for going to your site.
Thats it. Youre done! Now when people view your article and enjoy the quality information you are providing, they are inclined to visit your website to see what more you have to offer. Imagine how many sales you will make if thousands and thousands of people are reading your articles. This eventually results in a huge swarm of targeted traffic going to your site.
Yet another benefit of submitting articles are that people see you as a kind of expert on the subject. This will spread your name across your industry and enhance your credibility when you are selling products or going into joint ventures with other companies in your subject. Especially well written articles will greatly enhance this quality. It is important to offer people good quality content in your articles. This will establish you as someone who really knows your stuff.
How do you create a good article? Here are some pointers.
Edit your Article It looks downright unprofessional if you have grammatical or spelling mistakes in your article. Using a good word processor could remedy the problem. Alternatively, check your articles thoroughly for any mistakes in your articles. Making your article at least mistake free on the surface is the first step to establishing yourself as a trusted professional. It is indeed a waste to let trivial things like this hinder you.
Write Appropriately Sized Articles A medium sized article would attract the best crowd. Too long or short and readers will quickly leapfrog your article and go to the next one. Remember, you article should be approximately be around 700 words to garner the most attention, and ultimately the most sales.
Provide Awesome Content. This is pretty obvious by now, simply put, dont skimp on the quality of your articles. Give it your all. This will let your readers trust you.
Fantastic Titles work Wonders The title of your article is the most important part of your article. This is the only place you have to grab the attention of your potential readers away from your competitors. In article directories, normally only your title is shown when readers browse for articles. Having a great title will make your article stand out from the crowd which will lead to an increase in the readers you attract. An ideal title should create a desire or solve a problem, preferably with interesting or provocative names.
Article marketing is a great way to get free, targeted traffic, write an article, and it will be your asset for years to come. Start by writing a quality article a day and then increase the volume everyday until you get your desired sales outcome.

Writing articles is an amazing and powerful way to increase the number of backlinks to your websites. However, there are many elements that you need to get right to make the whole process work. If you don't follow the exact steps I am going to show you right now, you will waste your time or get your website banned by the search engines.
Please understand that your website is not going to be on Google's first page tomorrow. The strategy you are going to learn work, but the nature of the search engines is such that you will see results after a couple of weeks if your website is brand new.
While many so called SEO experts claim that you need to learn a bunch of very complicated strategies to get top rankings, my websites do very well in the search engines and I am going to show you the right way to do this.
First, you need to submit your articles gradually. You don't want to alert the search engines and "tell" them that you are launching an aggressive backlink campaign. Remember, they don't like to be forced.
I have a couple of websites, and I noticed something truly amazing by accident. Listen up... It seems bizarre, but the more great and original content you have on your site, regardless of the number of links, the highest rankings you will get.
Another fact is that you don't need to do mass submission with articlemarketer.com or isnare.com to get top rankings. I just submit to the 5 top article submission sites with the right anchor links:
1. EzineArticles.com
2. Articledashboard.com
3. Buzzle.com
4. Goarticles.com
5. Ideamarketers.com
There is another thing that I wanted to tell you today. Don't focus on getting a top ten ranking. Focus on building the number one website in your niche. Build an authority. The search engines will reward you overtime.
In conclusion, I would say that you must always go for quality in whatever you do. Write quality articles instead of hundreds of junk articles stuffed with keywords. Submit to the best directories instead of mass submission. And lastly, think long term strategy.

When you are practicing article marketing you will have to keep in mind several things and matters. Article marketing needs some experience and expertise. If you are new, then you should do it continuously to get some experience.
When practicing article marketing trey to spread your links to all the places. You can do it by including the link in your articles where the directories and ezines permit it. When they do not permit link inclusion in the articles, then you can add it in the resource box provided to you.
Choose the article directories where to put your articles. Put your articles in directories that are popular. Before submitting your article, check the directory is in line with your subject or it has a separate section for the subject you have written.
In ezines also check out the relevancy of the ezine and the part where you are submitting your article. Always use the best ezines, as people will come more to the popular ezines.
You can make free ebooks of your articles and distribute them with your link all over the texts and sections. This will ensure that you get readers from different parts of the ebook to your website. Use forums and online networks to spread the knowledge that you are a good writer. Submit your posts and articles to showcase your talent. Whenever possible add links to your website and your works.
The main issue is the quality of the articles. If the quality of the articles is good then you will be successful with these tools and tactics, but if the quality is not good, then no matter how much effort you put on, it will be difficult to get through.

Raymond Nesa is an experienced web marketer specializing in article marketing, traffic generation, and list building.
Making the following changes to your title tag can help improve ranking and increase targeted traffic to your website:
Include keyword phrases in your title tag:
Think of a title tag as the name above a shop. Imagine you are walking down a busy street with shops on either side of you. However every shop window is boarded up and all that is visible is its name. You mean to purchase a new Hi-Fi system and need to locate a suitable store. You look at all the names but are getting confused as to which one is for you. All of a sudden you see a store with 'Hi-Fi and Electrical' in its name. You enter and purchase your spanking new Hi-Fi system, but it is a bit expensive. And little did you know but the store next door also sold Hi-Fi systems but for a lot cheaper. However its name did not indicate this. In fact its name sounded more like a jewellery shop than an electrical store.
A search engine is rather like the shopper in the above example. It sees the title on each web page and determines whether this would be a good result to return based on its text. If you search for 'Hi-Fi' it is highly likely that some of the results returned will have 'Hi-Fi' in their title.
To be found using the search engines you should optimize your website for a set of keyword phrases. These keyword phrases should be included in your title tag. Suppose I was a website selling Hi-Fi systems, then I would like my website to appear in search engine results when searching with the phrase 'Hi-Fi systems'. If I include 'Hi-Fi systems' in my title tag I will increase the chances that the search engines will find the page and my ranking will be higher. Of course you are not limited to adding only one keyword phrase to your title, I would recommend two perhaps three but be careful not to make it too long. Also remember make it easy to understand and descriptive for a human.
Order these keyword phrases effectively:
Placing a keyword phrase at the start of the title tag allows it to be seen better by the search engines. Look at the following examples:
* ABCDEF Electrical - Hi-Fi Systems
* Hi-Fi Systems - ABCDEF Electrical
Both of these two examples are acceptable to human eyes but in the eyes of the search engines the second is see as more relevant if 'Hi-Fi Systems' is searched for because it appears at the start of the title. Generally it is best to place company name or the name of website to the end of your title tag.
Make your title enticing to the eye:
Although this point does not make a lot of difference to the search engines it can help to get people to click on your link in search results.
Which is easier on the eye?
1. XYZ COMPUTER HARDWARE
2. XYZ CoMpUtEr HaRdWaRe
3. XYZ Computer Hardware
I imagine that most people would say that (3) is the most pleasing. (1) and (2) are harder to read because of improper captilization. In (1) you see that using all capitals detracts the importance of any words you actually want to draw attention to and also some search engines may penalise this practice. (2) is simply a nightmare to read.
Try to keep title tags as unique as possible:
As each page on your site should be unique so should your title tags. Not only do unique title tags make the site more descriptive and navigable to a person they help search engines answer queries more accurately and allow more penetration of your site's pages in their databases.
Common title tags mistakes:
* Do not leave your title tag blank, ever!
* Do not use 'Untitled' or default text in your title tag. If you are using a web page editing application it may place some default text in the title tag. Make sure you always check your title to make sure this doesn't happen.
* Do not write title tags that are not relevant to the content on the page. Search engines compare text in the title tag against actual textual content on your page to rate relevancy. If the two are not related this will decrease your ranking. Also it is annoying to a person who visits your page when the title tag they saw going into your page does not relate to the content on the page. This will ensure that this person leaves your site and maybe never comes back.
* Do not stuff your title tag with repeating keyword phrases. This may be looked upon by search engines as spamming and they may penalise your ranking.
Summary:
Ignoring title tags is definitely a mistake if you aim to achieve high rankings. Although it takes a lot more than the title tag to propel you to the top of the search engines it can be very effective in making a search engine more secure that your site's content is more relevant than a competitor's.

Current version of Microsoft Dynamics GP, successor of Great Plains Software Dynamics and eEnterprise is 10.0. The latest version, supporting old DB platforms: Ctree and Btrieve was Great Plains Standard 7.5. Due to the fact that Microsoft Business Solutions deploys annual enhancement program requirements, if customer is not paying annual fee, it loses the option to get new version registration key and places itself in higher cost brackets for support cases, if support placed through MBS tech support department. In this small article we give you highlights on supporting GP on Pervasive SQL and Ctree:
1. Ctree - what is it? This is and was free DB platform, which is not supporting SQL client-server platform, and rather the Ctree workstation handles the request on file level, making request and listening the response from the server through Windows (or Macintosh) operating system mechanisms
2. Btrieve - what is it? Btrieve Technologies was acquired by Pervasive Technologies, this is why it is also known as Pervasive SQL (2000). In comparison to Ctree Pervasive SQL has Server side component, which helps you to expedite response from the remote computer, or server. In our opinion, as a lot of time gone since GPS and its successor Microsoft stopped support both Ctree and Btrieve - the performance is probably not as critical as it was used to be. Today the question is about how to recover, move to different server, upgrade from these old versions to latest GP 10.0
3. Location Translation "Breaking Through". This topic is one of the most popular in the internet chats, where modern GP consultants say that they have no idea on what location translation is and how to move old Ctree GP to new computer. Location Translation was a key concept for Great Plains Dynamics Dexterity architecture and you should look for professionals who are familiar with this cornerstone.
4. Upgrade Path. The best approach is upgrade from GP on Ctree to current version of Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0 on Microsoft SQL Server 2005. Upgrade include the migration step where we need to deploy migration tool.

Now that your list building page is up and running, you need ways to drive traffic to it, right? What's the easiest, fastest way to get that traffic? A blog. Why?
Actually there are many reasons, but the primary one is because a blog is a traffic magnet. That traffic filters down to your squeeze page, and BANG! You're list building.
Here are some ideas for ways to get traffic to your blog:
You can use your blog as a secondary list building page, too. Put an opt-in box at the very top. If people enjoy your blog, they'll probably opt-in to your list without even going to your list building page.
The whole key to making your blog effective in driving traffic to your list building page is to make your blog worthwhile. If you think you'll get anything by throwing together a pile of junk that nobody wants to read and that's only updated once a quarter, you're wrong. But if you write a great blog, you'll be building a great list in no time. Blogs are just the fastest, easiest way to get things done.

There is a lot of hype surrounding Internet Marketing; stories of millions of dollars being made in a few hours and this mythical pot of gold available to anyone with a computer and an Internet Connection.
Does Internet Marketing live up to the hype, or is it all hocus pocus; rumors circulated by people with fragile egos who are pretending they are making a fortune?
Like anything that is popular there is a lot of hype surrounding Internet Marketing. Some of this hype is inflated exaggerations of the truth whereas some of it is just plain untrue, designed to lure the unsuspecting into home internet business opportunities.
There are people online who are making an extremely good income from Internet Marketing with more people every day joining this crowd. It is possible for your home business to make you a small fortune, providing you plan carefully and work towards your targets.
As in any business there is a crest of the wave of new opportunities and ideas. If you want to have fantastic success then you need to be riding that crest and be ahead of the crowd.
The same happens in the offline world. Over the last few years there have been a massive increase in the number of Property and Housing based TV shows. In England they even have a channel dedicated to property renovation and restoration. This is an indicator that the wave has crested and that whilst there is still money to be made in that field, there is not as much as there used to be.
This happens online when you see a proliferation of, for example, made for adsense sites, or membership sites, or any other particular subject. When many people are selling these sorts of opportunities its an indicator that the main source of money has no longer in using what they are selling, but in selling those sort of products to people who are keen to buy them to make money applying them.
In the old California Gold Rush days it was always said the real money was in selling the shovels to the thousands of gold hungry prospectors. It is the same today on the Internet. The real money is in selling the tools the thousands of money hungry webmasters want to get their business running and profitable.
Amidst the Internet hype there are some nuggets of gold if you know where to look and use your intelligence. If you follow the herd and chase after the gold then you may strike a lucky vein of gold or you may just find nothing. However, if you set up your stall selling shovels to the prospectors then your chances of making a fortune are greatly increased.
Intimate Confessions Of Internet Marketers The Shocking Truth About Making Money Online ebook teaches you, amongst other things, how to identify that niche and set your stall up and how to leverage your skills to get the maximum return.

I am certainly no writer. Actually to those whom know me I am more of a ranter than anything. I have been writing on and off for many years (started a book on a typewriter back in the 80s). Do I have a style? I have no bloody idea, you tell me. I sure hope I do or else theres pretty good chance you havent even made it this far. I have recently been working closely with an editor friend to refine my limited talents. Over the course of our chats I decided an article about Article Marketing while sounding redundant, would be worth writing.
Not another one of these? Yes, I know there are more than few article marketing pieces out there, I am taking a slightly different angle. We are going to look at what makes a successful article marketing campaign so you can get the most out of a competitive marketplace. Competitive? I thought it was about getting Back Links you say? Thats where it starts to go wrong. The number one most common use of Article Repositories, is usually to get Back Links NOT as the full powered Marketing tool that it can be. This is what I often find short-sighted.
Lets look at some of the benefits and usage for Article Marketing programs; Surf-in traffic; This is really the number one reason. Above and beyond all else a well written article and marketed article will bring you traffic in the short and long term. I get traffic to our sites that came from an article I had written and marketed over a year ago. If you write a well thought out article that has lasting value, it will live out on the internet for quite some time. Traffic is always my goal and this is a major value to Article Marketing.
Link Profile development; This while not a primary focus for me, is a great additional benefit. Search engines, to a certain extent, base rankings from the number of Back Links (or In-Bound Links) a web site has pointing to it. This gives Article Marketing its second value. Through use of proper Link Text and keyword/phrase usage, your Article Marketing campaign can have a positive effect on your rankings and search referrers. For full effectiveness be sure to learn about building your Link Profile ( methinks I should write a Building your Link Profile article FIRST and then link to it. Thoughts?)
Building brand; well written articles and building a body of work will also help build the Brand of your company or yourself as an authoritative figure on the subject matter. This is also invaluable to any enterprise or undertaking. The opposite is also true that poorly written, shoddy or lazy articles can harm your reputation. Do it right or dont do it at all.
Tracking the Articles extra sensory perception
An over-looked area that makes it a true Program is the tracking. Dont just write and article, publish it onto the Dub-Dub-Dub a leave her to float away. How cruel, cold and uncaring. Watch the progress of the article. See how many times it is downloaded and viewed on the publishing site. Search Google for the Article Title in quotation marks, ( eg; My Article Title) to see how many times it was syndicated by other sites. See if anyone has reviewd it or quoted it and send them a thank-you. Tracking will also allow you to see which articles do the best. Now look at the style you wrote it in, the topic and other common factors. Soon you can start to choose topics and styles that will get you the most coverage with each successive article. Fun stuff huh?
Quality over quantity
Certainly a catch phrase these days in SEO (links, content etc), but it does hold true. You see, throwing out a ton of simplistic, non-engaging articles will do little more than garner a few back links. A well written article does so much more and you can even expect MORE back links as the eventual distribution/syndication of the article should be wider due to the lack of quality competitors.
A quality article will also be better received and promoted by the managers of your distribution sources (article repositories, e-magazines, newsletter editors). My number one 'editor in chief' Mark, certainly laments the vast number of pure drivel that arrives on his virtual doorstep every day. If you can entertain the distribution mangers and editors, you have won half of the battle. To that end I would also consider getting professional help. You heard me seek help!. With my SEO Company I keep professional writers around. I let them so what they do best and then my SEO guys do what they do best, optimize the article. Sure it raises my over-all cost, but if you factor in the many benefits of crafting professional work, its always worth it.
The main point is to not look at article marketing as simply another Link Drop. It is far more than that. Make sure you leverage it for all its worth.
About the author; David Harry is an internet business development consultant and president of Reliable SEO providers of reliable SEO services.
Link popularity has been written about ad nauseum, but most articles address the subject from a perspective circa 2001. The available information usually focuses on topics such as reciprocal linking or the current price of a PR6 link. But following outdated link building advice is more likely to get your Web site penalized than it is to help you gain top rankings.
Googles increasingly sophisticated algorithm has largely caught on to PageRank brokers and has successfully filtered out the benefits of many bought links, as well as those of reciprocal links. The risk of obtaining these types of links is even greater for a new site, as detection of an unnatural link structure has recently gotten many sites sandboxed to the bottom of the SERPs. For this reason, a link popularity campaign must be conducted carefully and yield relevant, natural links.
The methods described in this article will give your Web site backlinks that fit the following criteria, which are important for keeping a site out of the sandbox:
Numbers 1-3 are important so that your Web sites new backlinks are independent and natural, and do not trip a filter in the search engine algorithm; number 4 ensures that you can move on to more advanced link building tactics before your competition gets further ahead.
Directories
Directories have always been cited as a basic starting point for a link popularity campaign. Listings in the Open Directory Project and the Yahoo! Directory ensure that a site will be spidered and indexed quickly and also provide a reputable backlink. In the past few years however many general and niche directories have sprung up, most charging a yearly or one-time fee to be listed. Webmasters have questioned the ROI from being listed in these second-tier directories, as most provide little traffic and charge 10-50 USD per listing.
But listings in these directories provide important link popularity benefits for a Web site. A link from a directory fits the four criteria we laid out aboveeach of these directories has a unique set of backlinks and is hosted on a unique IP, the sites URL will be placed on a topical page, and all of the directories review and add new submissions within a week. With directory listings alone, a new Web site can gain a few dozen quality backlinks for under 1000 USD (not counting Yahoo!). Aaron Wall of SEO Book has provided a good list of directories at http://www.seobook.com/archives/000166.shtml.
Press Releases
Press Releases provide an opportunity to announce your Web site, and just as importantly, provide a backlink to your Web site from a relevant page (it had better be relevantafter all, its an article about your Web site!). A press release should be well-written and submitted to multiple newswires. In less than a week, it will be published on its own Web page by each newswire and possibly by the newswires syndication partners as well. The writer should be sure to include a link in the body of the press release in http://www.mysite.com format. Again, these backlinks meet the four criteria we laid out above. Newswires usually charge a fee to publish a press release, although a few offer this service for free. You can view the Open Directory Projects category of press release services at http://dmoz.org/Computers/!Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Promotion/Press_Release_Services/.
Articles
Another great method for gaining quality backlinks, as well as publicity, is to write and publish a helpful article. The author can write a relevant, informative piece on your Web sites subject, which of course includes a link to your Web site in http://www.mysite.com format. General how-to sites (and often, news sites in your particular niche) accept article submissions and will often reprint a relevant, well-written piece. Its free content for them, and a backlink for youa win-win situation. The author of THIS article swears by this method, and once again notes that it fits all four of our criteria for a timely and quality backlink. Aaron Wall of SEO Book has provided a list of Web sites that accept article submissions at http://www.seobook.com/archives/000099.shtml.
Just Say No
Although it may be tempting, you should stay away from reciprocal linking, except in the rare case where the link is relevant and helpful to your visitors. Likewise, you should avoid renting links from link brokers or networks; the links they sell are usually filtered by Google. These two types of links will have a minimal impact on your search engine rankings anyway and may even get your Web site sandboxed.
Instead, seek quality one-way inbound links by the methods described in this article; if you have exhausted these tactics, or if you have run out of money, you can always beg for links from relevant Web sites. If your site contains quality, original content, you may not even need to beg!
Conclusion
The success of a search engine optimization campaign depends greatly upon link popularity. Getting a Web site listed in directories, distributing press releases and submitting articles for syndication are three ways to gain a slew of legitimate backlinks from unique IPs relatively quickly. This will keep the site out of the sandbox and give any SEO campaign a sound link structure to build upon.

Anyone trying to earn a full or second income need to learn how to write a killer article that attract visitors to his bio box and literally force him to click on his link. If you write at least seven articles per week (that's only one per day) and follow these tips, success is almost inevitable.
If your article is interesting then other internet marketers may want to add it to their own website and Ezine publishers may publish your article and the great thing about that is that the link to your website that is in your resource box also gets published.
1. Your title is the most important part of your article as far as being seen by visitors and search engines. You need to write a compelling title with your keywords. I you can, be sure that your keyword is in the first two words of your article.
2. Don't give them all you have yet. You want to be mysterious and leave the article not quite complete so your visitors will have questions unanswered, then they will want to click on your link and visit your website so they can find the rest of the information.
3. Make it easy to read. Most people don't want to read long drawn out articles so if you can sum up what you want with bullet points then your readers will find out very quickly if your information is what they are looking for.
4. Briefly tell your readers what they will get or find if they click on the link to visit your website. Put the effort into having a good resource box as this will determine whether your readers will click through to your site.
These four tips will help you to create killer articles that sell your products or services even when you are not in front of your computer.

Article marketing is undoubtedly the best traffic generation strategy in the internet today that can bring you enormous traffic, improved sales potential, strong online presence, and higher page ranking. In addition, it is also the best method if you are aiming at getting more and more traffic in the long run. How? Once you submit article to publishing sites, it stays for a long period of time. And since each submission grants you one quality inbound link, imagine how much links you can accumulate within a year of constant submission.
Here are the 4 simple methods to grow your article marketing:
1. More articles equal to more traffic. If you would like to excel in this field, you must be driven enough to write 5-10 articles per day. Just remember, the more effort you exert on this technique, the more traffic will be diverted to your website.
2. Use different landing pages for your resource box links. You can drive your readers to your home page or to particular page on your website where they can directly find the information that you are promoting on your articles.

Do you have the fervor for writing? Do you want to get paid for doing something that you love to do? Your passion for writing can actually be used to your advantage in the so-called article marketing strategy in advertising your business.
Choose an interesting topic that is related to your respective business, research about it and write a resourceful article about your researched topic. Focus on popular subjects that you very well know people will be looking for in the Internet. And, include highly ranked keywords and Meta tags that will increase the possibility of having your article (as well as your website) included in the top list of search engine results.
Furthermore, here are some more specific secrets that will help you maximize your writing skill in bringing good fortune and profit to you and your business.
1. Write to only one person.
Your article should definitely target a pretty large number of readers. However, when you are writing your article, try to picture only one person whom you will address your article to. This makes your article more amiable, thereby keeping the attention and interest of your readers.
2. Make use of white spaces.
White spaces in an article can actually be beneficial by making your work appear more professional and a lot easier to read.
Too lengthy paragraphs may seem boring and uninteresting, especially for skim readers.
3. Proofread your articles.
Check your articles for any misspelled words and other grammatical errors.
Go over and read out loud your article at least twice to ensure that it is free of any inappropriately used words or syntax.
4. Make the most of constructive criticisms.
Ask what others have to honestly say or comment about your articles, accepting their feedbacks, and using them constructively can help you become a better writer.
Continue to do well on areas where you have received compliments and improve on your weak points. And if there is a need for you to change your writing style, do not be afraid to so. Even the most negative criticisms or feedbacks can be beneficial to you if you see them in a constructive way.
5. Try writing about different things.
There may be times that you feel like you can only write articles about a certain topic. This is just normal. However, this must not hinder you from trying other writing styles and tackling about different subjects that may be entirely new to you. Doing so will help develop your writing skills.
6. Never forget your resource box.
You may submit your articles in your affiliate article directories, ezines, and other online publishers. In these cases, you must always include a resource box in your articles, which must contain your site?s URL address.
This link will help redirect your affiliates? Subscribers and guests to your business site, and hopefully make them interested enough to buy the products or services that you are offering.
Articles are effective and convenient marketing tools in the Cyber world today. And you should not be afraid to use your writing skills in earning and making your business a big success.

Look through the eyes of your members and you might be surprised. You might find new ways to meet their needs. You might find new ways to offer benefit. Heck, you might even be able to anticipate there needs - there's no better money maker than that!
What do members want?
The best way to answer that question is to ask yourself. What do you want from a membership site? Take a moment and write down 10 things that you want from the membership sites that you belong to. Go ahead...we'll wait. Okay, you have your list? Let's see if it matches any of the items that we came up with.
Presumably you want:
A trusted source of information, products, and resources.
A wide variety of resources that meet your needs with multiple price points
Easy to use website
Easy to process transactions
Membership policies that make sense
Subscriptions that are worth their price
Subscriptions that are easy to renew or cancel
Updated content
Updated resources
A way, or many ways, to communicate with members and website staff
An efficient customer relations protocol
An easy way to return products
Clearly established terms of use
A website that protects your privacy - and doesn't sell your information
Communications, via email or newsletter, that are frequent enough to keep you in the loop but not so frequent that you feel hassled.
A website that is fitted specifically to meet your needs
Does that cover it? Not likely. That's just a short list of the things you probably want from a membership site that you belong to. You may also want to be able to use the site, products, and contacts that you make to generate profits. You certainly want to belong to a membership site that you can be proud of and that is recognizable - this means you'll more likely be a loyal and frequent visitor if not a frequent purchaser.
Now comes the second question...
What can you do to make your membership site meet the needs listed above, and any others that you came up with?
Many of the needs are fairly easy to fill. Customer relations can be automated. Billing, renewals, and auto responder thank you messages can be automated. Content, much of it anyway, can be outsourced. Terms of use and policies can be posted on your website and handed out in the form of a report when members subscribe. Affiliate programs and other wealth building tools can be automated. That leaves a few things: making sure that your customers know that you're an upstanding site with their best interests at heart, keeping the quality content, resources, and products up to date and quality, and tying all of their needs together into a cohesive website. Not too hard, right?
It doesn't have to be.
Use the resources that you have, such as those at MembershipMillionaire.com to make your membership site the absolute best that it can be for you and for your members.
